Pizza Bread Bowl

Hi everyone!

As promised, I am providing a second video this week as an apology for being away for far too long. Yesterday’s video was a dessert video, so I figured today would be something you can make for wither lunch or dinner. It combines the delicious tastes of pizza and the neat convenience of a bread bowl. Yup, you guessed it, a pizza bread bowl. πŸ˜€

I won’t lie, I am debating on either making this for Halloween with our family or the Pizza Skull Cups I had originally planned. πŸ˜› I don’t have a video for those, but if I do make them I PROMISE I will share a picture and a recipe for you guys πŸ™‚

Anyway, back to this video. Now, the original creators use peppers and basil and other stuff that I normally wouldn’t use, but that’s what makes pizza fun! You can make it however you want! Veggie pizza bowl, All Meat pizza bowl, even Hawaiian style! The combinations are endless and are completely up to you! πŸ˜›

As with all of our videos, the recipe will be in the comments below for your convenience. Also, please feel free to leave a comment if you enjoy this, plan to make it, or if you have any requests for future videos! I love hearing what you guys want to see, and am always more than happy providing things for you. πŸ™‚

Also, I am leaving a subscription box down below in case you want an email when I post a new video. As always, I promise I will not spam you. That’s not nice. πŸ˜›

That’s all for this post! I hope you like the video, and stay tuned next week, because I am back in the game and will post every week again. πŸ˜€

Enjoy the flavor!

  1. Makes 1

    1 bread bowl
    1 cup marinara sauce
    8 ounces fresh mozzarella
    6 ounces pepperoni
    Β½ onion, sliced
    Β½ cup basil
    1 cup cooked sausage
    1 green bell pepper, sliced
    1 cup white cheddar, shredded

    1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F.
    2. Slice the top of the bread bowl off and remove the insides. Spread Β½ cup of the marinara on the bottom of the bowl, then layer with half of the mozzarella, five ounces of the pepperoni, onions, basil, sausage, peppers, (or whatever toppings you prefer) the other Β½ cup of marinara, the remaining mozzarella, half of the white cheddar, and place the cap of the bread bowl on top.
    3. Wrap the bread bowl in foil, then press with a heavy object for 30 minutes. Remove the foil, and sprinkle the remaining cheddar and pepperoni on top. Bake for 30 minutes, until cheese is golden brown. Cool for 10 minutes, slice, then serve!

  2. Yummy! My husband would be in heaven if I made thisβ€”he says he’s a ninja turtle πŸ˜› would make a great football snack πŸ™‚ Thanks for sharing!
