French Toast Roll-Ups 4 Ways


Hi everyone! It’s been a while and I apologize for that 😛

Today I am bringing you a delicious breakfast video involving my favorite breakfast dish ever: French Toast! 😀

In this video, there are four different ways to create French Toast Roll-Ups. Yes, you heard me right. It’s a piece of bread with filling rolled up into a roll of deliciousness. This video will show you how to make Strawberries and Cream, Bananas and Peanut Butter, Sausage Stuffed, and Cinnamon Roll goodness. Now, you don’t have to use these suggestions. You can always use your own. I personally wouldn’t make the sausage ones JUST BECAUSE I like the sausage patties better, but again that’s just me 😛

  1. STRAWBERRY CREAM CHEESE
    Servings: 3

    INGREDIENTS
    ———–
    10 slices sandwich bread
    Softened cream cheese
    Sliced strawberries
    3 eggs
    1 tablespoon milk
    ½ teaspoon cinnamon
    ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

    PREPARATION
    ———–
    1. Roll each slice of bread flat with a rolling pin.
    2. Spread desired amount of cream cheese and strawberries along the edge of the bread, and roll up.
    3. In a bowl, combine eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla.
    4. Dip each roll-up in egg mixture, and pan fry in a buttered skillet until all sides are golden brown.
    5. Enjoy!

    BANANA PEANUT BUTTER
    Servings: 3

    INGREDIENTS
    ———–
    10 slices sandwich bread
    Peanut butter
    Banana slices
    3 eggs
    1 tablespoon milk
    ½ teaspoon cinnamon
    ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

    PREPARATION
    ———–
    1. Roll each slice of bread flat with a rolling pin.
    2. Spread desired amount of peanut butter and bananas along the edge of the bread, and roll up.
    3. In a bowl, combine eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla.
    4. Dip each roll-up in egg mixture, and pan-fry in a buttered skillet until all sides are golden brown.
    5. Enjoy!

    SAUSAGE
    Servings: 3

    INGREDIENTS
    ———–
    10 slices sandwich bread
    Cooked sausage links
    3 eggs
    1 tablespoon milk
    ½ teaspoon cinnamon
    ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

    PREPARATION
    ———–
    1. Roll each slice of bread flat with a rolling pin.
    2. Place sausage at the edge of the bread, and roll up.
    3. In a bowl, combine eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla.
    4. Dip each roll-up in egg mixture, and pan fry in a buttered skillet until all sides are golden brown.
    5. Enjoy!

    CINNAMON ROLL
    Servings: 3

    INGREDIENTS
    ———–
    10 slices sandwich bread
    3 tablespoons butter, melted
    3 tablespoons brown sugar
    2 tablespoons cinnamon
    3 eggs
    1 tablespoon milk
    ½ teaspoon cinnamon
    ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

    PREPARATION
    ———–
    1. Roll each slice of bread flat with a rolling pin.
    2. In a bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and 2 tablespoons cinnamon. 3. Spread onto each bread slice, and roll up.
    4. In a bowl, combine eggs, milk, ½ teaspoon cinnamon, and vanilla.
    5. Dip each roll-up in egg mixture, and pan fry in a buttered skillet until all sides are golden brown.
    6. Enjoy!

  3. These are so exciting, I am such a breakfast girl! Maybe my seven year old will eat French toast again if I serve him these. And he may happily like the sausage.
