Fluffy Japanese Pancakes

Hello everyone! I figured you’d want a break from pasta and I remembered you all seemed to like the fluffy Japanese cheesecake video. So, I’m here to provide a way to make your pancakes a little bit fluffier. These Japanese style pancakes are sure to brighten up your day and give you a great start. The recipe is listed in the comments below for you guys. Enjoy the flavor, everyone!

I am the owner of this blog. Hi, I’m Austin Borsuk, the founder of flavorsmasher.com. That’s it! That’s all. 🙂

But it began with a different purpose…

To start on the right foot, I’ve gotta level with you. Truthfully, my own selfish needs are really what prompted me to create this site. See, I tend to “crack out” on flavorful recipes videos (like the Fluffy Japanese Pancakes video you just took a look at), and a cool site on which I could re-watch my favorite videos is really what I was after.

I also believe that opportunity is limitless online, which is another motivating factor in my decision to create this site. I just thought I’d as honest as possible with you. 🙂

I love sharing great content, and I also enjoy earning sponsorship revenues and affiliate commissions… hopefully you don’t see anything wrong with that.

It’s a wonderful world we’re living in where we can get paid for sharing our passions. I like to take full advantage. With that said… any possible monetary benefit is incidental, and I’m not here to sell you anything. If my sponsors happen to entice you with their offers, I’d be super grateful! But if not, then absolutely no hard feelings. I just appreciate your readership. 🙂

I just want you and I to be able to “crack out” on some cool flavorful recipes videos together! 😉

And that’s the purpose that FlavorSmasher serves. It’s simply a place where you can access tons of crazy flavor videos all under one roof. I hope you can appreciate that. If so, I’d love to see you here again. 😉

So make this site one that you return to! I will just continue sharing useful videos which cover Dinner, Breakfast, and Lunch… and plenty more!

Please subscribe using the form below if you’d like to be updated about new videos as they become available. Email notifications of newly added videos are all you’ll ever receive from me. No promos. 🙂

  1. Here’s the recipe for you all. Enjoy!

    Servings: 4

    2 egg yolks
    ¼ cup sugar
    ½ cup milk
    ¾ cup pancake mix
    4 egg whites
    Butter, to serve
    Syrup, to serve
    Assorted berries, to serve

Mix together the egg yolks, sugar, milk, and pancake mix in a very large bowl until it is smooth with no large lumps.
In another large bowl, beat the egg whites with a hand mixer until stiff peaks form when lifted.
Carefully fold the egg whites into the pancake batter, until just incorporated, making sure not to deflate the batter.
Grease two 3.5-inch metal ring molds and set them in the middle of a pan over the lowest heat possible. Fill the molds about ¾ of the way full with the batter, then cover the pan and cook for about 10 minutes, until the center of the pancakes are slightly jiggly.
Release the pancakes from the bottom of the pan with a spatula, then carefully flip them over, making sure not to spill any batter inside.
Cover and cook for another 5 minutes, then serve with butter, syrup, and berries!

  2. The dressing even satisfied my sweet tooth and I didn’t crave dessert like usual. This will be a staple for me.Step by step explanation is great !! This is gorgeous, and sounds delicious!
This looks absolutely fabulous, and I love that it’s so easy to make!
