Caramel Apple Crumble Cheesecake

It’s been way too long since my last post, and I am so very sorry for not keeping up with anything. :C I hope each and every one of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, Mabon, whichever holiday you celebrate, and I hope you took advantage of the Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals the stores had. πŸ™‚
My husband and I are expecting a little one in March 2019, so taking care of everything has been my top priority. I hope you understand that. πŸ™‚

Anyway, I have yet another dessert video for you all. I’ve been baking a lot now that it’s getting closer to the Christmas/Yuletide seasons, and my biggest requests are for my cheesecake and my apple pie. So, I dug around and found a video that kinda sorta combines the two together: you get a Caramel Apple Crumble Cheesecake! It sounds and looks absolutely delicious in my opinion. πŸ˜› You know me and sweets.

    Serves 12

    2 cups graham cracker crumbs
    β…› cup brown sugar
    β…“ cup butter, melted

    16 ounces cream cheese, softened
    ΒΌ cup brown sugar
    ΒΌ cup white sugar
    2 tablespoons cornstarch
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    ΒΌ teaspoon ginger
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    2 green apples, peeled and thinly sliced

    ΒΌ cup rolled oats
    ΒΌ cup flour
    ΒΌ cup brown sugar
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    2 tablespoons butter, melted
    Caramel sauce

    1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F/180Β°C.
    2. In a bowl, mix the crust ingredients. Press into the bottom of a greased 8-inch springform pan. Bake for 5 minutes.
    3. In another bowl, mix all the filling ingredients except the apples. Spread over the graham cracker crust, then layer the apple slices on top.
    4. In another bowl, mix all the topping ingredients except the caramel, and sprinkle evenly over the apple layer. Bake for 30 minutes.
    5. Drizzle on caramel sauce.
    6. Enjoy!
